Welcome  – I’m Rebecca Noorian, an experienced, qualified psychodynamic counsellor and therapist based in St Albans Hertfordshire. I provide a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can explore what is troubling you without fear of judgement

I take time to understand  your difficulties and help you make sense of your experience. Together we’ll reflect on you and your current situation. I believe that with the space, time and insight I provide, it’s possible to work through difficult issues and develop greater self awareness and resilience. Using my specialist skills, I will support you in moving towards a place where meaningful change feels possible.

My Background and Experience

In addition to my private practice I work part time as a Clinical Manager at The Counselling Foundation in St Albans where I support students with their clinical work. I also provide short term counselling to police officers and police staff. Prior to this I provided counselling for the NHS and a number of organisations supporting people facing bereavement and domestic abuse.

Before training as a psychodynamic counsellor, I worked for many years in the public sector in London. My professional qualifications combined with personal life experiences have given me a grounded and real world approach to the work I do.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy). I work in accordance with their Code of Ethics and Standards of Good Practice. I have enhanced DBS clearance and professional indemnity insurance.
